The Red Turtle Movie Review

The animation is breathtaking and exhilarating to see on the big screen at the French Film Festival UK. This film explores nature and telling us that human beings are nature and there should not be any fight between us and nature. This film is more of an Animation Arthouse film as it is slow, drawn out, lacks plot as much as any Arthouse films tend to. Some will love it, some won't get it. I personally respect and admired the production value and the movie's intentions. Great collaboration from Michael Dudock De Wit and Studio Ghibli's own Isao Takahata. A beautiful animated work of art.
