ON LOOP Directed Christine Hooper - Short Film Review

I enjoyed the creative elements of On Loop by the film creator Christine Hooper. The way she combines stop motion animation with real life cinematography was very innovative and effective. Sound was affective as well, when they muffled her voice and the volume was brought down as the main character inserts her earplugs. I found it very entertaining to watch as well. She narrates her daily routine to the audience, but we do not see her face. The entire film is seen as the character’s P.O.V, which makes it engaging to watch. We can access her thoughts and feelings and repeating the same things we see repetitively, hence the title, "On Loop."
